How to Choose an Aroma Diffuser for Your Space

The right diffuser depends on the room it will live in. Here is how we advise customers at the shop.

Start with the space. A bedroom or small office is happy with a 200ml tank like our Fireplace Flame or Raindrop Forest diffusers. They run for hours on one fill and switch off on a timer. For a sitting room or open plan space, step up to the 300ml 5 Spray unit, whose five jets push mist wider and faster. If you want mist through the whole night, the 800ml Magic Backflow humidifier is built exactly for that.

Then pick the mood. This is where our range is different from a plain white pod. The Fireplace Flame gives you a cozy 3D fire glow in 7 colors. The Raindrop Forest rains gently over a miniature pine landscape. The Volcano Fog erupts with warm lava light, and the Steamship puffs mist from its funnels like a little Titanic. Think about power. Most of our units plug into the wall. The Aquarium diffuser is USB powered, so it can run off a laptop or power bank, which makes it perfect for desks and travel. Finally, the oils. Any of our diffusers works with the Nature Essence range at KSh 350 a bottle. Start with vanilla if you want an easy crowd pleaser, frankincense for calm evenings, peppermint or eucalyptus for freshness, and bergamot for bright, welcoming rooms. Three to five drops per fill is all you need.
